Information we process
For product submissions, we process the exact link and the logo used on the map. We do not build a store catalog record or retrieve app names, descriptions, or developer details. The link identity, logo status, free-claim history, preserved financial records, page-view events, and outbound redirect counts are stored in the application database.
A page-view event contains only the requested public path and server recording time. An outbound redirect event contains the listing identifier and redirect time. These counts are not presented as unique visitors.
Technical data
Our hosting and security providers may process ordinary request information, including IP address, user agent, timestamps, and diagnostic logs, to deliver and protect the service. We do not use this information to turn the public click counter into a unique-user counter.
Cookies, rate limiting, and local storage
AppOutbid does not run advertising analytics or require public accounts. Claim state is stored server-side and is not determined by cookies or browser storage. To limit claim abuse, the claim endpoint uses a short-lived rotating one-way request bucket derived from network information; the raw IP address is not stored in the application database and the bucket is not part of app identity. Essential hosting and security mechanisms may use short-lived technical storage where needed.
Payments
Payments are not active, and AppOutbid does not collect card details. If payments are enabled later, this policy will be updated before live processing begins. Payment details will be handled by the disclosed payment provider under its own privacy terms, while AppOutbid will retain only the order and payment-status information necessary to provide the service and meet legal obligations.
Why we use information
- To validate submissions, preserve exact store identities, and display listings.
- To determine the latest valid regional claim.
- To measure real page views and outbound redirects and protect platform integrity.
- To moderate content, handle correction or removal requests, diagnose faults, and comply with law.
Sharing and international processing
We use infrastructure providers to host the website, database, and uploaded logos. When automatic logo discovery is available, the submitted page is checked only for a usable logo URL; outbound clicks lead only to the stored canonical product URL. Providers may process information in countries other than your own under their applicable safeguards. We do not sell personal information.
Retention
Listing, free-claim, regional placement, and transaction records are retained while needed to operate the map, enforce lifetime eligibility, resolve disputes, keep accurate financial records, or meet legal obligations. Minimal click-event records may be retained for counting and integrity analysis, then aggregated or deleted when no longer needed. Technical logs follow the hosting provider's security and retention settings.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal information, or to complain to a regulator. Because most listing information is a public link or logo rather than an AppOutbid user profile, we may need enough detail to identify the record connected to your request.
Children and changes
AppOutbid is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect children's account information. We may revise this policy as the service changes and will publish the updated effective date here.
